Studio w+e Basel/Paris

For Studio w+e, I had the privilege of technically implementing a design studio’s own web presence – and that is a special case: when designers have their own website built, the design is not part of the brief but the benchmark. The task was therefore to bring the design by Noëmi Wüthrich and Claire Espinosa into the browser without compromise – down to typography, rhythm and detail.

At the center is the portfolio: more than thirty projects, accessible through a simple switch between “work” and “info”. The work is meant to speak for itself, while the studio’s offering in strategy, design and marketing is always just a click away. Implemented in three languages and on a CMS structure that lets the studio publish new projects on its own, without any detours.

The result is a web presence that consistently delivers on the studio’s clear stance – clarity, visibility and confidence for its clients’ projects – in its own cause as well.
